Long before I found ceramics, I loved doing beadwork. Making jewelry now is a very enjoyable way to connect back to the interests of my young self. Each piece is carefully handmade to be substantial, but not too heavy. While I am matching shapes and glazes to the vintage florals, and then adding beads, I am thinking of each piece as a tiny composition, special in its own way.
